discover the
Surroundings
Explore the beautiful surroundings of Casa de la Media Luna and enjoy a truly special setting.
Casa de la Media Luna is located in a privileged spot, within a private community of six villas, on a raised plateau surrounded by volcanic rock formations and mountains. Facing the sea and just 250 meters from the iconic Cabo de Gata Lighthouse—the most emblematic point of the natural park—it offers a unique setting to enjoy the surrounding nature.
Just 100 meters away, a short three-minute walk takes you to the charming Faro Beach (also known as Corralete Beach), a small gem of sand and crystal-clear waters, bordered by rocky cliffs and home to seagulls and other native wildlife.
Very close by, next to the lighthouse, you’ll find the impressive Sirens’ Reef (Arrecife de las Sirenas), a magical landscape where volcanic rock formations rise from the sea, creating a perfect scene for photography, diving, and snorkeling. From there, the coastline unfolds into a series of intimate, unspoiled coves such as Cala Arena, Cala Rajá, and Cala Vela Blanca—all accessible on foot from the house.
Less than 100 meters from the house, Bar-Restaurante El Faro serves delicious local cuisine, including exquisite rice dishes and fresh fish, all enjoyed from a terrace with stunning views.
The nearest village is La Almadraba de Monteleva (Las Salinas), just 3 km away. Further on, at 8 km, you’ll find San Miguel de Cabo de Gata, offering more services such as supermarkets, restaurants, a health center, pharmacy, ATM, and a weekly market every Saturday.
Immerse yourself in the peace of this natural paradise, where sea, mountains, and tradition blend into an unmatched habitat.
